It has less salt and less sugar, but is still fully hydrogenated. (But less than 2%, right?!) I had a sandwich recently with regular JIF and jam and I couldn't eat it. It was too sugary!Michellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10163151589536419822noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6524646823935816955.post-84218813542408162952010-05-05T08:23:15.991-04:002010-05-05T08:23:15.991-04:00Oh how I relate on every level of this! And we also have a backup JIF can in our pantry! <>Angie O.noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6524646823935816955.post-8832865166481778132010-05-04T22:53:17.012-04:002010-05-04T22:53:17.012-04:00You're a rebel, Megan. It always had to be long enough to go in a ponytail. So, when I went off to college, that was my big rebellion: getting progressively shorter haircuts. <br />Now that I'm a parent myself, I'm beginning to wonder if my parents delighted in my rebellion the way I might if my children tried to bust out and be independent ... and did it in a sweet and completely harmless way.Anniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04818294566354703006noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6524646823935816955.post-27972430847356081942010-05-04T21:02:16.337-04:002010-05-04T21:02:16.337-04:00For whatever reason, my JIF-loving husband decided...For whatever reason, my JIF-loving husband decided to buy the natural JIF the other day..but I'm not sure what is natural about it because it has "Peanut Spread" written on the bottom and doesn't split. So, we've had the "What the heck is peanut spread"?? conversation in our house a few times recently...and, as much as JIF beats anything else in the flavor dept, the fact that I just realized that that deliciousness is the direct result of hydrogenated oils might just send me searching for Smuckers the next time. (PS- You're the only person who could write a whole post about peanut butter and make me wish you'd written more!)amberbahlerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04618023451090274880noreply@blogger.com
